Best laid plans — I planned on staying one month in Portugal. I didn’t plan on returning early to the US to visit a friend in hospice. I planned on writing a detailed post on abundant treasures of Porto and Lisbon. I didn’t plan on having to move in five days. So, this post will be a pictorial of two cities, both of which are intoxicating and to which I’d like to return and explore further.
Then, on an upcoming hump Wednesday, I “plan” to write a synopsis of my near-year on the road as a TravelBeing.
(EeeGads, pardon the random order of photos — I can’t manipulate their placement and want to post today…)

Porto and Lisbon do look beautiful and intoxicating Heidi!
Have you settled into a new place? What an exciting opportunity you have had to travel and meet people and see places that will always be a part of who you are….
Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. said, “A mind that is stretched by a new experience can never go back to its old dimensions.”
Joanna, Your comments stimulate and motivate! Thank you. Still in the middle of a move to the central coast, so rumination on the past year of travel is yet to come…peace, sister.
